Job Title: Senior Accountant (Record to Report / R2R)
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (R2R) to act as the primary operational point of contact for our financial reporting and month-end close processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial statements, seamless audit management, and robust compliance across GL, Statutory, and Tax functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Close: Coordinate and execute end-to-end month-end close activities, ensuring all tasks on the checklist are completed timely and accurately.
- Financial Reporting: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, prepare variance analysis, and provide commentary on discrepancies to the Financial Controller.
- Compliance & Audit: Manage statutory and tax data requirements, coordinate with external auditors, and maintain the Account Responsibilities Matrix (ARM).
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Business Unit Leads, managing SLAs and resolving process issues in AP and BTC.
- Process Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in global processes and ensure high-quality service delivery within the team.
Must-Have Skills:
- Education: Accounting Graduate (CA, ICWAI, or CMA preferred) with 3–5 years of relevant F&A experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel skills and hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA.
- Accounting Expertise: Sound understanding of Accounting Principles, Balance Sheet movement analysis, and statutory/tax compliance.
- Communication: Proven ability to present P&L and Balance Sheet findings to senior stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Power BI.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,800,000.00 per year
