Job Summary
Sterling & Wilson Data Centre is looking for an experienced Design Manager – Electrical to lead the Electrical Design function for Mission Critical & Data Centre projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Data Centre Electrical Design, team management, and detailed engineering of HT/LT power distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Electrical Design Engineering team.
- Review and approve:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
- Load Calculations
- Cable Sizing & Routing
- HT/LT Distribution Systems
- Earthing & Lightning Protection
- Lighting Design
- UPS, DG, Transformer & Power Distribution Systems
- Control & Automation Interfaces
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA and IS standards.
- Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Vendors, Project Managers and Site Teams.
- Review BOQs, Technical Specifications, Vendor Drawings and Technical Bid Evaluations.
- Provide engineering support during construction, FAT, SAT and commissioning.
- Drive engineering quality, project delivery and team performance.
