Job Summary:
We are looking for a disciplined, energetic, and dedicated Physical Education Trainer (P.E.T.) who is also qualified as an Associate NCC Officer (ANO) to join our Intermediate College team. The candidate will be responsible for training students in physical fitness, sports activities, discipline, and NCC-related programs while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily physical education and fitness training sessions for Intermediate students
- Train and mentor students in sports, athletics, drills, and outdoor activities
- Organize and supervise sports events, tournaments, annual sports meets, and inter-college competitions
- Lead NCC activities, parades, camps, and discipline-oriented programs
- Encourage teamwork, leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship among students
- Monitor students’ physical fitness and overall participation in activities
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper usage and safety standards
- Coordinate with management for planning fitness and extracurricular programs
- Provide guidance on health, nutrition, and physical wellness
- Ensure student safety during all physical activities and events
Requirements:
- Must be a certified Associate NCC Officer (ANO)
- 2–5 years of experience as a PET, preferably with Intermediate/Junior College students
- Strong knowledge of physical training, athletics, sports coaching, and NCC activities
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain discipline and motivate students
- Physically fit, energetic, and passionate about student development
- Experience in organizing sports events and managing large student groups is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or related field
- NCC certification/training background
- Experience working in residential or discipline-focused educational institutions is an added advantage
