Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical assembly activities, machine operation, quality checks, and ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly activities according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
Operate manufacturing tools and machinery, including drilling, tapping, and other mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and assembly instructions accurately.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure precision and compliance with product standards.
Identify and report assembly issues, defects, or process improvements to the production team.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing targets.
Maintain proper handling and usage of tools, components, and consumables.
Assist in inventory monitoring and ensure availability of required assembly materials.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and manufacturing operations.
Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings.
Experience operating drilling, tapping, and mechanical tooling equipment.
Understanding of quality control and inspection procedures.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good teamwork and communication abilities.
Familiarity with production planning and manufacturing best practices.
Qualification
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments is preferred.
