We're a Marine and Offshore Equipment Services Company hiring an Inventory & Logistics Executive to own our day-to-day stock operations, procurement, warehouse management, and basic financial reconciliation.
This is a ground-level execution role. You'll be working directly with navigation and communication equipment — tracking it, storing it right, moving it, and accounting for it. If you're someone who likes things organized, documented, and running without surprises, this is your kind of job.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock records, track equipment movements, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling of navigation and communication equipment.
2. Procurement & Replenishment
Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of equipment and spare parts. Forecast demand based on project pipelines and service schedules to keep stock levels right — not too much, not too little.
3. Warehouse & Storage
Keep the warehouse laid out for fast, efficient retrieval. Put controls in place that reduce waste, obsolescence, and stock discrepancies before they become problems.
4. Logistics & Supply Chain
Handle inbound and outbound shipments end to end. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agencies, and customs authorities — on-time delivery with clean documentation.
5. Zoho ERP Management
Use Zoho Inventory for real-time stock tracking and Zoho Books for financial entries, expense monitoring, and management reporting.
6. Financial & Inventory Reconciliation
Reconcile stock reports with financial statements to keep inventory valuation accurate. Monitor procurement, logistics, and warehouse costs against budget and flag variances early.
7. Compliance & Documentation
Keep complete records for inventory transactions, financial entries, and logistics paperwork. Stay compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and tax requirements — no gaps.
8. Vendor & Customer Coordination
Maintain working relationships with vendors — follow up on deliveries, resolve supply issues, hold quality standards. Support customers on order tracking, invoicing, and after-sales logistics.
9. Reporting & Improvement
Prepare periodic inventory and financial reports. Identify gaps in inventory control, logistics flow, and financial processes — and actually flag them, not just document them.
