Role Purpose
The role manages end‑to‑end strategic and operational sourcing for categories including HR, Administration, Engineering, and IT Professional Services. The incumbent will ensure robust category governance, adherence to Global Procurement Policy, commercial excellence, and supplier lifecycle effectiveness while partnering closely with global category leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Category & Value Management
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine category strategies aligned with global procurement objectives and business priorities.
- Conduct comprehensive spend analysis, market intelligence, benchmarking, risk assessments, and opportunity identification across indirect sourcing categories.
- Support global and regional sourcing programs, supplier consolidation, rationalization, and long‑term value creation initiatives.
2. Sourcing & Commercial Excellence
- Lead sourcing events including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes—covering scope definition, bid analysis, negotiation strategy, and award recommendations.
- Drive cost competitiveness, value optimization, and commercial risk mitigation while balancing quality, service levels, and business continuity.
- Ensure disciplined sourcing documentation, approvals, and compliance with governance frameworks.
3. Contracting & Supplier Lifecycle Management
- Partner with Legal to support contract drafting, negotiation, redlining, and execution within delegated authority.
- Manage contract renewals, rate card governance, SLAs, and adherence to corporate and procurement policies.
- Monitor supplier performance through reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Stakeholder Partnership & Business Enablement
- Act as a trusted sourcing advisor to internal stakeholders across ITC, HR, IT, Finance, Admin, Engineering, and global business teams.
- Translate business requirements into effective sourcing strategies and commercially sound solutions.
- Enable procurement best practices through process guidance, stakeholder training, and proactive communication.
5. Governance, Compliance & Operational Rigor
- Ensure SLA adherence across sourcing, contracting, and procurement lifecycle activities.
- Maintain high data integrity and documentation standards across SAP, e‑Sourcing platforms, contract repositories, and audit trails.
Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and continuous process optimization initiatives.
