JOB PURPOSE
The candidate will be part of the Legal team (LEG-1 dept.) responsible for providing comprehensive transactional advisories to various business verticals and be responsible for managing the entire contract life-cycle (i.e. drafting, review, negotiation, execution and storage of contracts).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drafting, review, negotiation & finalization of varied nature of business contracts including but not limited to SLA, Licensing Agreements, Technology transfer, Collaboration, etc.
Providing comprehensive legal advice and opinion to internal business teams on diverse issues
Collaborating with team members and cross functional teams for conducting day to day business activities
Understanding and implementation of company’s SOP’s, standard agreements and templates
Undertake Legal trainings for business verticals
Contract Lifecycle Management including handling, storage and retrieving of original agreements
Supporting senior team members in achieving desired team objectives
INTERACTIONS
Internal Clients
Work closely with other members of Legal team; other departments within Legal vertical, various internal business teams
External Clients
Engage with empaneled law firms / legal consultants in respect of the assigned work
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Full time LL.B or LL.M degree from a recognized university
Work Experience
Minimum of 5+ years in law firms/in-house with experience in corporate laws, transactional advisories and review of legal documents
Competencies & Skills
Experience in drafting, review, negotiations and finalization of legal documentation (agreements, memorandums, undertakings etc.)
Professional ability to interpret laws and find solutions to complex legal issues
Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and within strict timelines
Must be highly motivated and able to function independently in a “hands-on” environment.
Should have excellent analytical and execution skills
Should possess excellent communication skills with internal and external stake holders
Conduct work with integrity and responsibility
Maintain knowledge of alterations in legislation
