Position Summary
Mind & Brain Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RCI Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation services for patients with mental health, behavioral, emotional, and neuropsychological conditions. The Clinical Psychologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based and patient-centered mental healthcare.
Key ResponsibilitiesPsychological Assessment & Diagnosis
- Conduct detailed psychological evaluations and clinical interviews.
- Administer, score, interpret, and prepare reports for psychological and neuropsychological assessments.
- Assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, personality, and adaptive functioning.
- Assist psychiatrists in diagnostic clarification and treatment planning.
- Prepare comprehensive psychological assessment reports.
Psychotherapy & Counseling
- Provide individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Conduct evidence-based interventions including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Behavior Therapy
- Supportive Psychotherapy
- Family Therapy
- Marital and Relationship Counseling
- Stress Management and Coping Skills Training
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor therapeutic progress.
Clinical Documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Prepare assessment reports, therapy notes, treatment summaries, and discharge documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric social workers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, treatment planning meetings, and multidisciplinary reviews.
- Contribute to patient rehabilitation and discharge planning.
Crisis Intervention & Mental Health Support
- Provide crisis intervention and psychological support during psychiatric emergencies.
- Conduct risk assessments for suicide, self-harm, aggression, and other behavioral concerns.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral management plans.
Training, Research & Quality Improvement
- Conduct psychoeducation programs for patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities.
- Provide training and supervision to psychology interns and trainees where applicable.
- Stay updated with current evidence-based psychological practices.
Ethical & Regulatory Compliance
- Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines prescribed by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, mental health regulations, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- M.Phil. Clinical Psychology
- Valid Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
- Active RCI License/Registration Certificate.
Experience
- 1–5 years of clinical experience in a psychiatric hospital, mental health center, rehabilitation center, or multidisciplinary healthcare setting preferred.
- Freshly licensed Clinical Psychologists may also apply.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
