Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for factory machinery. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum machine uptime and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of factory machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and execute machine-wise maintenance schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections, safety audits, lubrication, and condition monitoring.
- Maintain maintenance records, machine history, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, relocation, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Manage critical spare parts and coordinate with stores/procurement for timely availability.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of CNC, VMC, Lathe, Drilling, and other production machines.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
- Ability to read technical drawings, machine manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Good understanding of industrial safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
