About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic administration while contributing to the University's vision of academic excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Technology.
- Deliver engaging, outcome-based learning experiences using innovative teaching methodologies.
- Develop course content, laboratory manuals, assessments, and learning resources.
- Mentor students in academic, research, project, and career development activities.
- Guide capstone projects, internships, dissertations, and research initiatives.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
- Apply for research grants, consultancy projects, and industry collaborations.
- Participate in curriculum design, accreditation processes, and academic quality initiatives.
- Contribute to departmental, institutional, and community engagement activities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into teaching and research.
Eligibility CriteriaEssential Qualifications
- BCA / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- M.Sc. / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant specialization.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Consistently strong academic record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Research publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
- Experience in handling industry-oriented projects and internships.
- Exposure to Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and accreditation frameworks.
- Experience in funded research projects, consultancy, or industry collaboration.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong subject expertise and programming skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide students effectively.
- Research aptitude with a commitment to scholarly activities.
- Familiarity with modern educational technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary academic environments.
