About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead and scale our B2B business across multiple trade and e-commerce channels. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth, managing P&L, leading Key Account Managers (KAMs), and strengthening relationships with brands, distributors, vendors, and B2B platforms.
The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, extensive experience in B2B trade and platform management, and a proven track record of delivering profitable growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Strategy & P&L Management
- Own and drive the complete B2B P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with organisational objectives.
- Drive pricing, trade schemes, discount structures, and channel profitability.
- Monitor business performance and present periodic MIS, forecasts, and business reviews to leadership.
B2B Channel & Platform Management
- Manage and grow business across key B2B platforms such as Flipkart Wholesale/B2B, RetailEz, Myntra, and other emerging marketplaces.
- Identify and onboard new B2B channels and strategic accounts.
- Analyse platform performance, sales trends, and customer insights to drive growth.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs).
- Define targets, monitor performance, and drive accountability across the team.
- Conduct regular reviews, capability-building initiatives, and performance appraisals.
Brand & Partner Management
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and brand partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms including margins, credit periods, marketing support, and return policies.
- Drive Joint Business Planning (JBP) and ensure achievement of agreed business objectives.
Operations & Supply Chain Coordination
- Oversee end-to-end B2B operations including order processing, fulfilment, inventory planning, logistics, and returns.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, warehouse, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure adherence to defined SLAs and operational efficiencies.
Vendor & Distribution Management
- Manage relationships with vendors, distributors, and service partners.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts and commercial terms.
- Monitor primary and secondary sales to ensure optimum inventory levels and market coverage.
Desired Candidate ProfileQualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Graduate from a recognised university.
Experience
- 12–18 years of experience in B2B sales, trade, distribution, or e-commerce.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing B2B business operations.
- Proven experience in handling B2B platforms and marketplace operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing P&L and leading high-performing sales/KAM teams.
