Job Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in travel finance, IATA BSP reconciliation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate settlement processes, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
This role requires someone who can independently handle financial operations while supporting business growth through accurate reporting and financial control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting activities of the company.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices for flights, hotels, holiday packages, visa services, and other travel services.
- Record daily receipts, customer payments, refunds, and supplier invoices accurately.
- Verify and reconcile cash, bank, credit card, UPI, and online payment transactions.
- Process customer receipts and maintain proper accounting records.
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments to airlines, hotels, consolidators, and other travel partners.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain payment vouchers, receipts, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses, reimbursements, and petty cash.
- Prepare GST/VAT-related reports and support statutory compliance.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.
- Support management by preparing financial analysis and management reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 – 3 years of accounting experience (Travel industry experience preferred)
- Mandatory working knowledge of IATA and travel agency financial processes
- Strong understanding of BSP reconciliation and airline accounting procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
