Job Summary
Marcellus Exhibitions is looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Executive for MIHS. The candidate must have strong sales skills, the ability to sell exhibition space, build long-term client relationships, and close deals through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell exhibition space for MIHS to manufacturers, brands, and industry players
- Identify and generate new leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and referrals
- Make outbound sales calls and pitch MIHS effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors and prospects
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable booth packages
- Prepare and send professional sales emails, proposals, and quotations
- Ensure strong and timely follow-ups to close deals
- Achieve monthly and event-based sales targets
- Maintain CRM or sales records of leads and conversions
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for exhibitor onboarding
- Attend industry meetings, exhibitions, and client visits if required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or exhibition sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to sell space and sponsorship packages
- Comfortable making cold calls and client follow-ups
- Excellent email writing and professional communication skills
- Relationship-building and client-handling abilities
- Target-oriented and self-motivated
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Email, CRM tools)
- Knowledge of the exhibition or events industry is a plus
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in exhibition sales, trade shows, or B2B events
- Network in houseware, kitchenware, home appliances, or lifestyle categories
- Confident, persuasive, and energetic personality
- Able to work under deadlines and pressure
