Job Description: South Indian Master Chef
A South Indian Master Chef is responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes with high quality, consistency, and taste as per the hotel/restaurant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook South Indian cuisine (breakfast, lunch, dinner items)
- Ensure taste, quality, and presentation are consistent
- Plan daily menu items and specials
- Manage kitchen hygiene and cleanliness as per food safety standards
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff and helpers
- Control food wastage and maintain portion standards
- Ensure timely preparation and service of food
- Monitor stock and inform purchase requirements
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in South Indian cooking.
- Knowledge of spices, flavours, and traditional recipes
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Good hygiene and safety awareness
Experience: 3–10 years in South Indian cuisine (hotel/restaurant experience preferred)
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
