We are looking for a detail-oriented Stock Auditor to manage and audit inventory, ensure accuracy in stock records, and prevent discrepancies. The role involves physical verification, reporting, and coordination with warehouse, accounts, and purchase teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular physical stock verification across warehouses, stores, and branches
2. Reconcile physical stock with system stock (ERP / Tally / SAP)
3. Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and expiry
4. Prepare daily / weekly / monthly stock audit reports with root cause analysis
5. Monitor inward & outward movement of goods (GRN, Dispatch, Stock Transfer)
6. Ensure FIFO / FEFO compliance and proper labelling & storage
7. Verify purchase bills, invoices, and stock valuation
8. Coordinate with internal audit team for final audit and closing
9. Assist in identifying slow-moving, non-moving, and dead stock
10. Ensure adherence to SOPs for inventory and warehouse management
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: CA Inter / CA Pursuing OR CMA Inter / CMA Pursuing
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Inventory Valuation, and Auditing principles
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table mandatory) & Tally / ERP
- Good analytical and observation skills
- Willingness to travel for branch / warehouse audits
- Honest, self-disciplined, and able to handle pressure
Preferred:
- Candidates from Bangalore or willing to relocate
- Prior experience / internship in stock audit / internal audit
Salary: As per industry standards + Travel Allowance
