- Direct, train, and motivate the service team (waiters/stewards) during a shift; manage table assignments and shift handovers.
- Guest Relations: Greet guests, take complex or specialized food and beverage orders, handle complaints professionally, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the menu to suggest pairings and upsell items; ensure food presentation and service adhere strictly to establishment standards.
- Coordinate restaurant opening/closing checklists, oversee station mise-en-place (setup), and monitor cleanliness and hygiene regulations.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Bridge communication between the dining area, kitchen, bar, and billing departments to minimize errors and delays.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and leadership abilities with a strong customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) billing systems (like Micros) and basic computer literacy.
