ETOS Technology Private Limited is an innovative electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing company dedicated to developing reliable, efficient, and sustainable electric mobility solutions. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Intern to support our quality assurance activities across incoming materials, production processes, and final vehicle inspections. This internship offers hands-on exposure to quality systems, manufacturing processes, and EV assembly.
Internship Responsibilities
- Assist in inspecting incoming raw materials and purchased components.
- Support quality inspections during production and vehicle assembly.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of parts and assemblies.
- Record inspection findings and maintain quality documentation.
- Assist in identifying defects, non-conformities, and process deviations.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Maintain quality checklists, inspection reports, and testing records.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and measuring instruments.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in quality audits, process improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with Production, Stores, Procurement, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support final inspection and quality clearance before vehicle dispatch.
Eligibility
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing final year) in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Quality Engineering or related disciplines
Recent graduates looking for practical industry experience are also encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of quality control and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Multimeters.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Management Systems.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or automotive quality standards.
- Exposure to EV manufacturing or automotive components is an added advantage.

- Duration: 6 Months
- Location: Madhavaram, Chennai
- Working Hours: Full-Time
- Certificate: Internship Completion Certificate upon successful completion.
