Production Manager – Plastic Container Manufacturing
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee daily operations at our plastic container manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, maintaining product quality and consistency, supervising factory staff, and resolving operational issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor and maintain product quality standards and consistency across all production batches.
- Identify and resolve production, machinery, and process-related issues in a timely manner.
- Supervise and manage a team of approximately 20 factory employees.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain production records and prepare reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and guide production staff to improve efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in plastics or packaging industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good understanding of quality control and production planning.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
