About the Role
This role involves welding, fabrication, and support in mechanical installation for railway coach interior projects. The candidate will perform welding operations, grinding, cutting, fitting assistance, and support panel installation as required.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder with strong technical expertise in welding and fabrication works. The role includes TIG welding - SS, structural fixing support, grinding, and ensuring the quality and safety of all welding-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding - SS welding as required for project tasks
- Carry out fabrication, grinding, cutting, and surface preparation
- Assist in fitting and installation work for panels and mechanical components
- Ensure all welds meet required quality and safety standards
- Handle welding tools, machines, and safety gear responsibly
- Follow engineering instructions and project guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Coordinate with supervisors and support timely completion of welding tasks
Required Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or mechanical installation
- Experience in railway interior or industrial welding projects is an added advantage
Educational Qualification
- ITI – Welder / Mechanical trades
- Diploma in Mechanical or related fields (optional but preferred)
- 10th Pass with strong welding experience may also apply
