POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly capable and hands-on Senior .NET Developer who can independently understand client requirements, design technical solutions, develop and test applications, and take ownership of assigned projects.The candidate should be technically strong, proactive and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact directly with clients, understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.The role involves supporting and maintaining existing .NET and SharePoint-based applications while also designing and developing new applications using modern technologies.Strong practical experience in using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar tools throughout the software development lifecycle is expected.Hands-on Microsoft SharePoint experience will be considered a strong advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET Core
- MVC and modern web application architecture
- Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core and LINQ
- Web API / REST API development
- MS SQL Server and database design
- Strong OOP, SOLID principles and software design concepts
- JavaScript/TypeScript and exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Git and source control
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of application security and modern authentication
- Ability to understand, maintain and modernise existing or legacy applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
AI-ENABLED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
The candidate should have strong practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms.The candidate should be capable of effectively using AI for:
- Understanding and analysing requirements
- Solution design and application architecture
- Application and API development
- Code generation, review and refactoring
- Debugging and troubleshooting
- Testing and quality assurance
- Technical documentation
The candidate must have the technical capability to independently review, validate and improve AI-generated solutions and take full ownership of the final output.
SHAREPOINT – STRONG ADVANTAGE
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint will be considered a strong advantage. Experience with SharePoint Online or On-Premises, SharePoint development and customisation, REST APIs, SPFx, Power Automate, document management, permissions or integration with .NET applications will be preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently understand and analyse client requirements.
- Communicate directly with clients to clarify functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into appropriate technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test and maintain .NET-based web applications and APIs.
- Support and maintain existing .NET and SharePoint-based applications.
- Use AI-assisted development tools effectively throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and adopt appropriate modern technologies and frameworks for new projects.
- Troubleshoot complex application, database and performance issues.
- Ensure code quality, security and development best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and assist other developers with technical challenges.
- Share technical knowledge and development best practices with the team.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure quality and timely delivery.
DESIRED SKILLS
