About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Intern to join our design team. This internship is ideal for architecture students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in architectural design, drafting, 3D visualization, and project development. The candidate should have proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion, along with a basic understanding of building standards and construction practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and design presentations using SketchUp.
- Create realistic architectural renderings and walkthroughs using Lumion.
- Assist in conceptual design development and preparation of presentation materials.
- Support the team in preparing drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Coordinate with senior architects to revise and update project drawings.
- Research building materials, design solutions, and relevant codes and standards.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable building regulations and standards.
- Participate in site visits and documentation when required.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion.
- Basic understanding of architectural drafting, construction methods, and building standards.
- Knowledge of design principles, space planning, and architectural documentation.
- Good visualization and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
