Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Accounts Manager to join our fast-growing logistics startup in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects of our company, ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts to ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet its financial obligations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Work with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits and other financial reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Experience in logistics, transportation or related industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting principles and tax laws.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software Tally.
