About the Role
We are a dynamic video production and advertising agency looking for a creative and driven Video Editor to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of content, ranging from impactful socio-political documentaries and educational modules to high-quality entertainment and commercial ads.
We aren't just looking for someone who can cut clips; we want a storyteller who understands the pulse of the audience and can translate complex ideas into engaging visual narratives.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into high-quality video content for social media, YouTube, and professional broadcasts.
- Manage the end-to-end post-production process, including basic color correction, sound leveling, and transitions.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project briefs and deliver content that aligns with the client’s vision.
- Maintain an organized library of assets and project files.
- Ensure all content is delivered on time while maintaining agency-standard quality.
Requirements & Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command over industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Hardware: We are looking for candidates who possess their own editing system/workstation to ensure workflow flexibility, though office infrastructure is available.
- Creative Eye: A solid understanding of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
- Communication: A degree/diploma in Visual Communication, Film, or a related field is preferred to ensure smooth communication and understanding of complex project requirements.
- Adaptability: Ability to switch between different styles of content, from serious socio-political pieces to light-hearted entertainment.
