Job Summary
Ammaiyappan Projects is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineer (Fresher) to join our team. The selected candidate will assist in the execution of civil construction and interior fit-out projects, including site supervision, quality control, project coordination, estimation, and documentation.
This position is based at our office in Kandanchavadi, Chennai, and may require travel to project sites within Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution and supervision of civil construction and interior fit-out projects.
- Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and site workers.
- Supervise civil works, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, false ceiling, partition works, modular furniture installation, and finishing works.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, and site documentation.
- Assist in quantity estimation, material planning, billing, and measurement of completed work.
- Verify material quality and ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Support senior engineers and project managers during project execution.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
- Basic understanding of interior fit-out and finishing works.
- Ability to read civil and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
Eligibility
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with internship or project experience in civil construction or interior works will have an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Salary
₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on qualifications, skills, and interview performance.)

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Revit, STAAD Pro, or similar software will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, estimation, and billing.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines.
