Job Purpose
To assist the Operations Manager in coordinating forklift deployment, operator management, customer communication, maintenance scheduling, documentation, and daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Operations Support
- Assist in planning and scheduling forklift deployment at customer sites.
- Track daily machine utilization and availability.
- Coordinate movement of forklifts between sites and workshop.
- Maintain records of machine breakdowns and repairs.
- Follow up with maintenance teams for timely completion of repairs.
Operator Management
- Maintain attendance records of operators.
- Coordinate operator deployment as per site requirements.
- Follow up on operator documents, licenses, and certifications.
- Support induction and training activities for new operators.
- Maintain operator leave and replacement records.
Customer Coordination
- Receive customer requests regarding forklift requirements.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager for deployment and service support.
- Update customers regarding machine availability and maintenance schedules.
- Record customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all operational records and files.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Update machine utilization reports.
- Maintain rental agreements, site records, and service logs.
- Ensure all documents are properly filed and available for audit purposes.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure operators follow site safety rules.
- Maintain records of safety training and toolbox talks.
- Monitor validity of operator licenses, medical certificates, and statutory documents.
- Assist in implementation of company SOPs and operational procedures.
Inventory & Workshop Coordination
- Maintain records of spare parts consumption.
- Coordinate with workshop team regarding machine maintenance.
- Track pending service jobs and breakdown status.
- Support procurement requests for operational requirements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Forklift utilization percentage.
- Breakdown response time.
- Operator attendance and availability.
- Customer complaint closure time.
- Accuracy of operational reports.
- Documentation compliance.
- On-time deployment of forklifts.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
