Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mobile and web automation using Appium and Selenium with Python, along with strong exposure to API and non-functional testing (performance, security, etc.).
You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using:
- Selenium with Python for web applications
- Appium with Python for mobile applications
- Perform manual testing when required, including:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Exploratory testing
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and automate API test cases where applicable.
- Execute functional and non-functional testing, including:
- Performance testing (load, stress, scalability)
- Basic security testing practices
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using standard defect management tools.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings in an Agile environment.
- Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in QA with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Selenium + Python
- Appium + Python
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of non-functional testing concepts:
- Performance testing
- Security testing basics
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as:
- PyTest
- unittest
- Understanding of:
- SDLC
- STLC
- Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as:
- JMeter
- LoadRunner
- Basic knowledge of:
- Security testing tools
- OWASP guidelines
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
