Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to aligning platform components with organizational data strategies, fostering a cohesive and efficient data environment. The engineer actively participates in discussions to enhance platform capabilities and supports the continuous evolution of the data infrastructure to meet business needs.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data platform components with overall architecture.
- Assist in identifying and resolving integration challenges between data systems.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Continuously monitor and improve data platform performance and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Mesh.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong understanding of distributed data architectures and domain-oriented decentralized data ownership.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable data platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and data quality management.
- Ability to work with data modeling and integration techniques to support complex data ecosystems.
