About the Role
We are seeking an Executive – Warehouse Finance (Accounts Payable) to manage end-to-end warehouse payment processes, lease accounting, security deposit accounting, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate accounting entries, timely payment processing, and seamless coordination with cross-functional teams while maintaining compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate lease booking files to ensure accurate accounting entries before final posting.
- Process manual franchise lease bookings and ensure successful accounting entries in the ERP system.
- Manage security deposit accounting, including processing adjustment requests and posting accounting entries.
- Maintain Security Deposit MIS, agreements, supporting documentation, and ensure audit readiness.
- Process warehouse rent payments and monitor budget-related payment activities to ensure timely disbursement.
- Update UTR details for vendor payments and maintain payment records for reconciliation.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Treasury, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payment processing and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and resolving audit queries.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Warehouse Finance, Lease Accounting, or Finance Operations.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, accounting principles, and ERP systems.
- Experience in payment processing, bank reconciliations, UTR management, and MIS reporting.
- Good knowledge of lease accounting, security deposit accounting, and vendor payment processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple functions.
