About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Kothamangalam. The ideal candidate is a professional with 3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience who can manage financial operations independently and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports
- Handle GST filings, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Supervise junior accounting staff when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com); CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred
- 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
