Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer / Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web applications, identifying bugs, ensuring product quality, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans
- Perform manual and functional testing of web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Conduct regression, integration, and UI testing
- Validate APIs and backend responses
- Ensure software quality, performance, and usability standards are met
- Participate in requirement analysis and sprint planning
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience with manual testing and bug reporting tools
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
- Knowledge of web technologies and browser debugging tools
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good analytical and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation testing tools is a plus
- Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is preferred
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries
- Experience testing REST APIs
