About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Academic Counsellor who can guide prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, career opportunities, and educational programs. The candidate should have strong communication, counselling, and convincing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents regarding available courses, programs, and career opportunities.
- Handle student inquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admission status.
- Achieve assigned admission/enrollment targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and admission teams for smooth enrollment.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Stay updated about courses, programs, fees, and admission procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline; relevant education/counselling background preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, admissions, or student counselling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Sheets and CRM tools.
- Ability to handle multiple student queries professionally.
