We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, expert travel advice, and creating personalized travel experiences for our clients. Your in-depth knowledge of destinations, travel trends, and industry practices will be crucial in ensuring our clients have memorable and enjoyable trips.
FYI: Experience in the related industry is mandatory. Interest indomestic and international travel destinations, attractions, and industry trends is a Must
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person meetings. Understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements to offer suitable travel options and recommendations.
Travel Planning: Utilize your extensive knowledge of destinations, travel routes, accommodations, and attractions to create customized travel itineraries. Ensure all aspects of the trip, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, are arranged smoothly and efficiently.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on travel industry trends, new destinations, and emerging attractions. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of travel products, such as tour packages, visa requirements, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel partners, hotels, airlines, and other service providers to ensure the best possible travel experiences for our customers. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable rates and secure exclusive offers.
Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during their travel, addressing any concerns, modifications, or emergencies that may arise. Provide immediate assistance and find suitable solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry is required
- knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, attractions, and industry trends.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex travel information in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment..
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
