We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, and support financial planning and reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience with accounting software and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance related to employee benefits.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for management.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections.
- Reconcile customer, vendor, and inter-company accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Generate MIS reports and financial dashboards for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements.
- Support ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in handling complete accounting cycles.
- Exposure to manufacturing, service, or corporate accounting environments is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial formulas, data analysis).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
