Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee and manage construction site activities. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a site engineer, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and Bar Bending Schedule (BBS). You will be responsible for executing project tasks, managing on-site teams, coordinating with consultants/contractors, and ensuring that the work complies with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth execution of work as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and ensure timely delivery of steel requirements.
- Interpret and work with AutoCAD (2D) drawings for layouts, sections, and details.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols on site.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth workflow.
- Maintain site records including daily progress reports (DPR), labor reports, and material reconciliation.
- Assist in estimating quantities, preparing BOQs, and supporting procurement activities.
- Monitor project timelines and highlight delays or deviations to project managers.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the construction quality aligns with IS codes and standards.
- Provide technical advice and resolve any on-site issues that arise.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Civil construction practices and materials.
- Excellent command over AutoCAD (2D) for reading and preparing working drawings.
- Expertise in preparing and interpreting Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Understanding of site safety and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary: up to 60000 monthly
