Job Description – People & Culture: Systems & Process Business Analyst

Reporting To: Head – People & Culture
Role Purpose:
To act as the bridge between People & Culture, end users, People & Culture technology vendors, and system administrators by ensuring that P&C processes, policies, business requirements, and related technology systems operate in an integrated, efficient, compliant, and user-friendly manner.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand and maintain deep functional knowledge of the organisation’s P&C systems and related systems.
2. Gather, analyse, document, and present business requirements for P&C process and system enhancements.
3. Translate P&C policies, workflows, and business requirements into functional specifications.
4. Review proposed system changes for alignment with P&C processes, organisational policies, and statutory requirements.
5. Plan, coordinate, execute, and track User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
6. Investigate and resolve P&C systems -related functional and process issues.
7. Document P&C processes, workflows, SOPs, user guides, business rules, and process maps.
8. Support P&C data quality, governance, reporting integrity, and system adoption.
9. Provide functional training and support to P&C users and managers.
10. Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and user-experience enhancements.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
1. Strong practical understanding of employee lifecycle processes.
2. Working knowledge of payroll concepts, salary structures, attendance, leave, PF, ESI, gratuity, and related P&C operations.
3. Working knowledge of employment-related statutory requirements and compliance considerations.
4. Experience with P&C systems platforms and system enhancements.
5. Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, business analysis, and stakeholder management.
6. Experience preparing test scenarios, test cases, and managing UAT
Pay: ₹230,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
