8MH Organic is a boutique hospitality and vacation rental brand working with unique stays, villas, farmstays and experiential properties across India. Alongside property management and hospitality consulting, we are launching a new education and consulting vertical focused on helping property owners understand and build successful short-term rental and Airbnb businesses.
We are looking for a highly organized and creative Freelance Content Developer to help structure, document and build the knowledge ecosystem for this vertical.
Role Overview
This is a remote freelance opportunity for someone who enjoys research, structured documentation, SOP creation, educational content development and digital business systems.
The selected candidate will work closely with the founders and marketing team to help develop:
- Training materials
- Program modules
- SOPs and process documents
- Presentation decks
- Research summaries
- Social media content references
- Internal documentation for hospitality and short-term rental operations
This role combines research, writing, business understanding and content organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Research the short-term rental, Airbnb and hospitality education space
- Study and organize content from global hospitality and hosting platforms
- Structure educational modules and learning material
- Draft SOPs for hospitality operations, guest communication, onboarding, listing optimization and related workflows
- Convert raw founder inputs, voice notes and meetings into polished documents
- Develop training decks, worksheets and guides
- Collaborate with the social media and design teams for ad and content references
- Maintain organized documentation libraries and workflows
Ideal Candidate
- Strong written English and documentation skills
- Experience in content writing, curriculum development, operations documentation or business research
- Ability to simplify complex operational concepts into structured content
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment
- Prior exposure to hospitality, Airbnb, digital education, consulting or online business ecosystems is preferred
Bonus Skills
- Canva / Google Slides / Notion proficiency
- Understanding of short-term rentals or hospitality operations
- Experience with SOP documentation or training manuals
- Social media content ideation
- AI tools for content assistance and research
