Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements.
Develop detailed manufacturing and shop drawings.
Create layout plans, elevations, sections, and fabrication drawings.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinate with the production team.
Modify and update drawings based on client and project requirements.
Coordinate with the Sales, Production, and Project teams to ensure design accuracy.
Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project specifications.
Assist in design optimization to improve functionality and cost efficiency.
Conduct site visits for measurements, design verification, and project coordination as required.
Be willing to travel and stay at project sites when necessary for project execution and support.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for preparing BOMs, calculations, and project documentation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience
1–3 years of experience as a CAD Engineer or Draftsman.
Experience in laboratory furniture, modular furniture, interiors, or fabrication will be an added advantage.
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of sheet metal and fabrication drawings.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material specifications.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
