Core Responsibilities & Job Description
- Patient Registration & Scheduling: Handling new and follow-up patient registrations, issuing patient ID cards, and managing doctor appointments.
- Front Desk Management: Greeting visitors, providing information, and ensuring the reception area is organized.
- Billing & Insurance: Generating invoices, collecting payments (cash/card/UPI), and verifying insurance eligibility.
- Communication & EPBX Handling: Managing incoming/outgoing calls, directing queries, and managing intercom systems.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Updating patient information and maintaining daily MIS reports.
- Coordination: Liaison between patients, doctors, and nursing staff for smooth services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Hospital Management preferred).
- Experience: Usually 1–3 years in a healthcare setup.
- Skills: Proficiency in computers (MS Office), excellent communication in English and local languages, interpersonal skills, and patient handling.
