Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Interior Painter to perform painting and finishing works for residential and commercial interior projects. The candidate should have experience in surface preparation, putty work, primer application, and high-quality paint finishes while maintaining site safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings, wood, and metal surfaces before painting.
- Apply putty, primer, and multiple coats of paint.
- Perform emulsion, enamel, texture, PU, melamine, duco, and polish finishing as required.
- Mix and match paint colors according to approved samples.
- Operate brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other painting tools.
- Protect furniture, flooring, and finished surfaces during painting.
- Carry out touch-up and repainting work after installation.
- Ensure smooth, clean, and high-quality finishing.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Follow site safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, and site engineers for timely completion of work.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interior painting.
- Knowledge of wall putty, primer, emulsion, enamel, texture, PU, melamine, and polish finishes.
- Experience in painting MDF, plywood, laminates, and gypsum surfaces.
- Ability to use spray painting equipment.
- Good understanding of color matching and finishing quality.
- Physically fit and willing to work at project sites.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
