We are looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to manage the dispatch of milk and milk products from the plant to distributors, dealers, and retail outlets. The candidate will ensure timely dispatch, proper documentation, and maintenance of cold chain and product quality.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily dispatch operations of milk and milk products such as milk, curd, buttermilk, paneer, butter, and ghee
- Coordinate with production, cold storage, and sales teams for dispatch planning
- Ensure proper FIFO (First In First Out) during product dispatch
- Monitor loading, unloading, and vehicle movement
- Ensure proper crate management and return tracking
- Maintain dispatch records, invoices, delivery challans, and stock reports
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely delivery
- Ensure cold chain maintenance during dispatch and transportation
- Monitor product quantities and minimize dispatch errors or shortages
Qualification
- Any Degree / Diploma
- Candidates with Dairy / Food Industry experience preferred
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations in Dairy / FMCG industry
Skills
- Knowledge of dispatch planning and logistics coordination
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to manage dispatch team and loading operations
- Understanding of FIFO and cold chain management
