Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cloud Infrastructure Intern to join our Cloud and IT Infrastructure team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in managing cloud platforms, supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, monitoring cloud resources, and assisting in cloud migration and automation projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization, and cloud security in a real-world enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in cloud computing, infrastructure management, networking, and IT operations, with a willingness to learn emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Support day-to-day cloud operations, including monitoring, backup, and resource management.
- Assist in provisioning and managing Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and Resource Groups.
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user account creation and license management.
- Assist in managing Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), and Group Policies.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
- Assist in implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Troubleshoot basic cloud, network, and system-related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, asset inventory, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in implementing cloud security best practices and identity management.
- Work with automation tools to streamline infrastructure tasks.
- Participate in infrastructure audits, compliance activities, and project meetings.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, System Administrators, Security, and Development teams.
