Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and specifications relevant to EPC and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in procurement of mechanical equipment, materials, and services, including RFQ preparation, bid evaluation, and vendor negotiations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Proficiency with procurement and ERP tools, spreadsheets, and documentation for tracking orders, deliveries, and costs.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors.
- Strong analytical, cost-comparison, and problem-solving capabilities to support value engineering and cost control.
- Organized and detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple procurement packages and deadlines.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; additional certifications in supply chain or procurement are an advantage.
- Prior experience in EPC, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Understanding of contract terms, commercial conditions, and basic legal aspects of procurement.
