Job Description:
Role & responsibilities
Conduct regular and surprise audits of gold loans, pledged ornaments, and vault stock.
- Verify gold weight, and valuation as per company standards.
- Cross-check all loan-related documents and ensure data accuracy in the system.
- Cross check all statutory records as instructed by Audit Manager
- Identify discrepancies or potential fraud and report findings to the audit manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI norms, and audit procedures.
- Coordinate with branch managers and staff for audit rectifications.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings with corrective action suggestions.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of gold assets.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in gold loan industry audits
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Knowledge of audit procedures and compliance standards
- MS Excel and audit report preparation
- Communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Must be able to Communicate in English and Malayalam
Salary : Rs 23,000 + TA + Out station Allowance
Candidates in and around Alappuzha who are willing to travel are preferred.
