Role and Responsibilities
The Engineer – SIV (I&T) is responsible for functional and network validation activities performed by the validation team. The engineer will manage worldwide (WW) validation activities for SIV or BT + USB + Entertainment + HMI + Audio module devices across Infotainment and Telematics solutions.
- Support automated, semi-automated, and manual validation activities.
- Help make the validation team autonomous in testing I&T products for markets outside India.
- Execute automated scripts and analyze issues in detail.
- Perform multimedia testing including Image/Video Editor, Video Player, Image Viewer, FM Radio, Voice Recorder, Conversation Record, Media Player, and MM Framework.
- Perform audio pass, video, Wi-Fi streaming, USB, and media testing with Automotive Head Units (HU).
- Perform validation activities on telematics products.
- Report the weekly status of validation activities to the Coordinator.

Updating the status of Verification & Validation activities.
Accountability
- Productivity of the validation activity.
- Performance and quality of deliverables.
Minimum Educational Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics / ECE / Electrical & Electronics ONLY
Minimum Experience Required
1–3 years of experience in a Telematics Project.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Automotive Embedded Electronic Products, preferably Infotainment & Telematics.
- Hands-on experience with RTH, Elvis, TAF, and JIRA.
- Experience in Verification and Validation of automotive embedded products, preferably Infotainment & Telematics.
- Experience in I&T projects and Bug Management/Reporting/Tracking tools.
- Exposure to the full SDLC in Telematics projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, KWP, and ISO 14229 diagnostic protocols.
- Hands-on experience with CANoe / CANalyzer / NI LabVIEW / TestStand.
- Strong knowledge of CAPL and Embedded C.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in writing Test Plans, understanding use cases, executing testing activities, and compiling Test Reports.
- Experience in firmware testing with good exposure to HCI-level system validation and end-product testing.
- Good knowledge of CMM guidelines and Configuration Management tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
- Ability to design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
