CAD Designer – Job Requirements
Position: CAD Designer / AutoCAD Designer
Location: Tirunelveli / Palayamkottai
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.
- Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD or relevant 2D design software.
- Review design specifications, sketches, and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and meet required standards.
- Prepare revisions based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project teams.
- Maintain proper drawing files, revisions, and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, site, and project teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings when required.
- Check dimensions, measurements, materials, and other technical details.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of drawings.
- Follow company drafting standards and project specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of technical drawing and drafting standards.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
