The company is looking for a versatile Node.js Developer who can work across different types of applications and use cases. You will be involved in building backend systems, full-fledged applications, integrations, automation scripts, and scalable solutions using Node.js. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving diverse technical challenges and working on real-world products end to end.
Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Node.js (APIs, services, tools, and backend logic)

Design and implement REST APIs, background jobs, and server-side workflows

Work with databases (SQL), caching, and message queues as required

Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external systems

Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices

Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle

Debug issues, optimize performance, and fix post-release bugs

Write clean, maintainable code with basic unit tests and documentation
Requirements

1–3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and Express
-
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
-
Experience building backend logic beyond just CRUD APIs
-
Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and scalability concepts

Experience working with SQL

Familiarity with Git, deployment processes, and basic server management
-
Ability to learn and adapt to different types of Node.js-based projects
Good to have
- Experience with MongoDB / DynamoDB

Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks (React or similar)

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD pipelines, or serverless architecture

Experience with microservices, queues, or real-time applications
