Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager- Safety to join our team at Titan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all safety-related activities within the company's eyecare-ISCM department. This includes developing and implementing safety policies, conducting safety audits, and providing training to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training to employees and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Investigate and report on any safety incidents or accidents that occur within the department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Stay updated on new safety regulations and standards and implement necessary changes
- Manage a team of safety officers and provide guidance and support as needed
- Prepare and present safety reports to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the eyewear industry
- Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Work Experience
Graduate & ME In Safety / Advanced safety diploma in RLI/CLI
2 to 5 years of expeirence.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment
- Ability to influence key stakeholders
- Ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
- Ability to analyse complex data, draw connections and advocate a coherent strategy for improvement
- Understanding of Legal requirements in Manufacturing
- Understanding of Chemical, Electrical & mechanical Safety protocols
