Job Summary
St. Froebel Senior Secondary School is inviting applications for the position of School Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the school's infrastructure, maintenance, vendor coordination, logistics, and field activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facility Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, administration, facility management, or a similar role, preferably in an educational institution or a large organization.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
- Experience in infrastructure maintenance and facility management.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital reporting.
- Willingness to travel for official field work and event coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the school campus, buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities.
- Ensure timely repair and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, furniture, and other infrastructure.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and procurement.
- Visit venues, stadiums, auditoriums, educational institutions, and other locations for school events and official purposes.
- Manage logistics for school programmes, sports events, and other activities.
- Supervise housekeeping, security, transport, and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor inventory, equipment, and assets, ensuring their proper maintenance and availability.
- Coordinate with government departments and external agencies whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and statutory regulations.
- Submit periodic reports on operational activities and maintenance work to the school management.
Preferred
- Experience in school administration or educational institutions.
- Ability to independently handle field work and operational responsibilities.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
