Key Responsibility
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design sheet metal components including bends, weldments, assemblies, and enclosures.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.
- Develop and maintain BOMs and design documentation.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability of designs.
- Resolve design-related issues during fabrication and assembly stages.
- Optimize designs for cost, material usage, and ease of manufacturing.
- Support prototype development and trial runs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and customer specifications.
- Manage drawing revisions and engineering change notes (ECN).
