Applications are invited from eligible ITI pass out and 2026 appearing candidates from Jharkhand for Apprenticeship Training.

Age:The candidate must have been born between 01-June-2004 and 01-June-2008 (including these two dates). Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates must have been born between 01-June-2002 and 01-June-2008 (including these two dates).
Stipend, Training and Employment Details:
a) Successful candidates will be provided one year structured training followed by three months of special training. This fifteen months of training comprises of classroom training at SNTI and On-Job-Training at Shop Floor. Candidates will be registered in Apprenticeship Portal during this period, subject to the receipt of the candidate's ITI passing certificate.
b) Candidates who have already completed an ITI apprenticeship or are currently under contract with another establishment shall not be considered. Candidates must establish a NAPS contract within 14 days of joining (for ITI graduates) or within 14 days of receiving their NTC/STC (for 2026 appearing candidates). Failure to meet this deadline will result in immediate termination of training.
c) Training for selected appearing candidates will start before ITI certificates are issued. However, appearing candidates must pass their ITI exams to remain in the program. Those who fail will be immediately terminated from the training.
d) Candidates will get a stipend (₹10,560/month) during training period as specified in the Apprentices Act, provided the performance and conduct is found satisfactory.
e) The Apprentices Training Programme is a compliance requirement as governed by the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and its latest amendments and is not a guarantee for employment.
f) On successful completion of the training and on being successfully awarded the National Apprenticeship Certificate on clearing the All-India Trade Test (AITT), in case of vacancy, the candidate may be appointed only on rolls of TSTSL (Tata Steel Technical Services Limited) at any location in India.
